What is WPM in a typing test?
WPM means words per minute. Typing tests use it as a simple way to compare how much text you can enter within a fixed amount of time.
Start Test →A common convention treats five characters as one word. A raw score therefore converts typed characters into five-character words and scales the result to one minute. Keyzira also reflects mistakes so a fast but inaccurate run does not look better than clean typing.
Key points

- Accuracy should be read alongside WPM.
- Longer tests usually give a steadier benchmark.
